As a junior Richard was trained at national level under coach Nigel Sears who is now famous for coaching at world class level on the women's tour. He won junior county titles as well as a junior national doubles title. Since that time he has built up senior and junior coaching experience, working in clubs and schools around Sussex.

With competitive experience at Junior and Senior County level and a 2 year Tennis Scholarship at Temple Junior College, Texas behind him, Peter began coaching in 1993. He is CCA qualified & Registered with the LTA.
In 2002, he trained with Sir John Whitmore to become an Inner Tennis Tutor for TenniscoachUK & is a founder member of www.innerworkscoaching.org. Qualified in NLP & Hypnotherapy. Peter uses tools from all of these fields to enhance learning, performance & enjoyment in his coaching.
Coaching Fee £30 per hour.

Helen Almond - Assistant coach 07981170322

Helen has worked with children for 13 years. She was manager of the creche at Maidstone Tennis and Fitness Centre for five years and has coached tennis at Amherst for seven years.
Helen was inspired to take up tennis in her twenties and played and improved until she was able to train with the LTA and gain her DCA qualification in 2000, she then went on to upgrade to Club coach award in 2011. She is LTA Registered and is available for adult and junior coaching.
Coaching Fee £18 per hour.

Alex Goodsell - Assistant coach

Alex has been a member of Amherst LTC since the age of 5 and has regularly competed in junior events.
He obtained his PTR qualification last August. He is also a member of UK Racket stringers Association and trained with them.
